CALL FOR PAPERS
The Ecole Normale Supérieure in Constantine organises a National Symposium on Learning Strategies and Pedagogical Implications from 11 to 12 January 2010. The importance of Educational reforms (at school and university level) requires relevant choice of strategies which reflect the development and achievement of designed competencies in English as a Foreign Language. Course implementation and evaluation would be the tools and criteria of success or failure of such reforms. Papers on the issues mentioned below are invited for debates / discussions and practical suggestions in workshops.
1-Identification and analysis of the required strategies for the development of competencies in English as a foreign language.
2-Classroom activities, classroom dynamics, and social tasks which enhance the development of competencies in English as a foreign language
3-Design and development of teaching/learning materials for the integration of strategies and competencies in the Teaching of English as a foreign language.
4-Strategy - competency training and testing techniques, process and product evaluation.
